I think you mean Mean Absolute Deviation or MAD. It means the average amount the digits are from the mean, so let's say the mean is 4 and the digits are 2, 6, 4. So find the difference of each digit 4-2=2 6-4=2 and 4-4=0. So you have 2, 2, 0. Now find the mean of those 3 numbers which will be 4/3.

If the base of a parallelogram is 61 m and the area is 645 m2, what is the height of the parallelogram
Sonja [21]

Answer:

645/61

or

10 35/61

or

10.5737704918

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of a parallelogram is base × height

A=b×h

In this situation we know base and area.

645=61×h

To solve for height divide both sides by 61. (dividng area by base)

h=645/61

645/61 = 10 35/61 = 10.5737704918

Make a table of values and create a line of best fit
Anni [7]
<h2>Explanation:</h2><h2></h2>

Hello! remember you have to write complete questions in order to get good and exact answers. Here I'll explain this in a general way assuming the following table:

\begin{array}{cc}x & y\\0 & 0\\1 & 2\\2 & 4\\3 & 6\\4 & 8\\5 & 10\end{array}

As you can see, x increases in steps of 1 units. So let's check the difference in y:

\bullet \ \text{From x=0 to x=1} \\ \\ \Delta y=2-0=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=1 to x=2} \\ \\ \Delta y=4-2=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=2 to x=3} \\ \\ \Delta y=6-4=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=3 to x=4} \\ \\ \Delta y=8-6=2 \\ \\ \\ \bullet \ \text{From x=4 to x=5} \\ \\ \Delta y=10-8=2

So we have a constant difference and we can conclude the table represents a line. Since the line passes through then y is directly proportional to x, so we can write:

y=kx \\ \\ Where: \\ \\ k \ is \ constant \ of \ proportionality \ or \ the \ slope

Then:

k=\frac{2-0}{1-0}=2

Finally, the equation of the line is:

\boxed{y=2x}

Korolek [52]

Percent increase from 2000 to 2001 is 12% and from 2001 to 2002 is 12.6%. Thus period of 2001 to 2002 has higher increase percentage.

Solution:

Given that,

Total circulation of local newspaper in 2000 = 3250

Total circulation of local newspaper in 2001 = 3640

Total circulation of local newspaper in 2002 = 4100

As we can see 12% < 12.6%

So period of 2001 to 2002 has higher increase percentage.

Find the value of 'y' in the equation 3/y-3 =8
ElenaW [278]
3 / (y - 2) = 8....multiply both sides by (y - 2), eliminating it on the left side

3 = 8(y - 2)
3 = 8y - 16
3 + 16 = 8y
19 = 8y
19/8 = y
2 3/8 = y <==
