The statement above is TRUE.
ATP is needed to generate the power stroke in the myosin head. At the beginning of the power stroke, ATP bind to myosin head making it to release actin; myosin and actin are detached from each other in the process. After the process, the ATP is converted to ADP and inorganic phosphate.

An important similarity between photosynthesis and cellular respiration is that both processes??
LuckyWell [14K]

If you choices are the following;

a. use and store O2.

b. use and make ATP.

c. store energy in glucose.

d. release energy from glucose.

The answer would be b. use and make ATP.

Both processes use and make ATP but the way they do this are reversed. In cellular respiration, ATP is made by breaking down complex molecules. Photosynthesis on the other hand uses ATP to produce complex molecules.

IN FIVE TO TEN SENTENCES, DISCUSS the major concepts of populations, and
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

A small change in our ecosystem could forever impact the whole web. For example, if bees were to go extinct, then flowers wouldn't be able to reproduce (since bees fertilize the flowers). Meaning the flowers would die out. And a lot of living things, including humans, depend on bees. Or let's say that a sharks were to go extinct. They play a major role in our ecosystem, because they eat fish and other sea creatures. The prey would then grow in population. Which would lead to a disaster. So in short terms, every creature in the ecosystem is vital to maintain the balance. I hope this helps!! :)

Cite evidence that living systems follow the Laws of Conservation of Mass and Energy. How do living systems follow the law of co
kodGreya [7K]

Answer: Living systems use the Law of Conservation of Mass when a living organism dies. When the organism decomposes carbon is released and enters back into the Earth. This follows the law because the mass is not being created or destroyed, but reused. Living systems use the law of conservation of mass when a living organism dies. ... consider the backwards activity [glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate] in the cell. how many metabolites result from this activity
matrenka [14]

While taking into account the cell's reverse action [glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate], 1 metabolites are produced by this activity.

What kind of metabolite is this example of?

Ethanol, cystine, aspartic acid, 5′ guanylic alkaline, acetic acid, uric acid, glycerol, etc. are a few examples of primary metabolites. Melanins, resins, solvents, ergot, alkaloids, herbicides, naphthalenes, nucleosides, levofloxacin, peptides, growth hormones, etc. are examples of secondary metabolites.

Why do metabolites affect the body in what ways?

Metabolism is the term used to describe the chemical reactions that take place in each cell of the body to transform food into energy (pronounced meh-TAB-uh-liz-um). Our bodies require this energy in order to function—to move, think, and develop. Proteins unique to the body control the chemical reactions involved in metabolism.
