One Principle which guided the organization of the United Nations is that there should be the Cooperation or join actions/ coordination among big Powers (countries) rather than equality among all countries/nations.

The objectives of the United Nations are to prevent war, to protect human rights, to mobilize the process of upholding international law, to promote social and economic development to improve living standards and to fight disease.

The member nation gets an opportunity to handle international concerns and national affairs.
