The main difference is that the avoidant personality tends to crave relationships but is afraid of rejection, thus the name avoidant, whilst the schizoid personality generally doesn't crave relationships.

Both disorders are part of the Personality Disorders which are divided into clusters:

  • Avoidant: it belongs to cluster C, characterized by a general feeling of anxiousness as well as being perceived by others as withdrawn.
  • Schizoid: it belongs to cluster A, characterized by a<em> difficulty to relate to others</em> and perceived as weird for certain behaviors, for example.

How does the government plan to compensate the companies for the laying of track over mountainous terrain?

bonds will be issued to compensate for difficult terrain to compensate the companies.
Laying tracks on mountainous terrain tend to not really profitable for the companies since there were not many people that live there and use their railroad services.
But Government view that it would make the distribution of raw material become easier and improve the economy,  so the government decided to compensate the company.
