First you need to change 6 2/5 to an improper fraction and 4 3/7 to an i promover fraction. Then find equivalent fractions for both but keep in mind that you need to have the same denominator. Finally subtract and you have you answer

6 2/5 = 32/5
4 3/7 = 31/7

32/5 • 7 (multiply by numerator and denominator by 7)
31/7 • 5 (multiply by numerator and denominator by 5)

224/35 - 217/35 = X

X = 7/35

7/35 divided by 7 = 1/5

Help pls! if f(x) =6x-4, evaluate f(x)/-4 for x=8
irga5000 [103]
So first of all you need to plug in the x=8 into both equations which will make  the first equation be equals to 44 than plug in the x into the second equation and you will get 4 over -1 so in my opinion it should be b=44

A scientist is growing bacteria in a lab for study. One particular type of bacteria grows at a rate of y=2t^2+3t+500. A differen
Leya [2.2K]

ANSWER

Approximately after 15 minutes.

EXPLANATION

The growth rate of the first bacteria is

y = 2 {t}^{2}   + 3t + 500

The growth rate of the first bacteria :

y = 3 {t}^{2}  + t + 300

To find the time that, there will be an equal number of bacteria, we equate the two equation;

3 {t}^{2}  + t + 300 = 2 {t}^{2}   + 3t + 500

3 {t}^{2}  - 2 {t}^{2}   + t  - 3t +  300 - 500 =00

{t}^{2}  - 2t  - 200= 0

We solve for t to get,

t = 15.177

Or

t =  - 13.177

We discard the negative value.

This implies that,

t \approx15

Anni [7]

Given:

The matrix multiplication

\begin{bmatrix}4&5&6\\1&2&3\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}10\\20\\30\end{bmatrix}

To find:

The order of resulting matrix.

Solution:

We know that, if order of first matrix is m_1\times n_1 and the order of second matrix is m_2\times n_2, then the order of these two matrices is m_1\times n_2.

We have,

\begin{bmatrix}4&5&6\\1&2&3\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}10\\20\\30\end{bmatrix}

Here, the order of first matrix is 2\times 3 and the order of the second matrix is 3\times 1. So, the order of the second matrix is 2\times 1. It is also written are 2 by 1.

Therefore, the correct option is A.
