First you need to change 6 2/5 to an improper fraction and 4 3/7 to an i promover fraction. Then find equivalent fractions for both but keep in mind that you need to have the same denominator. Finally subtract and you have you answer

6 2/5 = 32/5
4 3/7 = 31/7

32/5 • 7 (multiply by numerator and denominator by 7)
31/7 • 5 (multiply by numerator and denominator by 5)

224/35 - 217/35 = X

X = 7/35

7/35 divided by 7 = 1/5

Answer:

  $50.40

Step-by-step explanation:

The garden has an area of ...

  (15 ft)(12 ft) = 180 ft²

Amy wants to cover 1/4 of that with flowers, so the area devoted to flowers is ...

  (1/4)(180 ft²) = 45 ft²

The cost for each square foot is $1.12, so the cost of the flowers will be ...

If logb 5=0.41, find logb 12
Hitman42 [59]
Determine which one of the following is the correct application of the change of base formula?

a)log3 14= log10 14/3
b)lo4 17= log10 4/ log10 17
c)log8 3= log10 3/log10 8
d)log9 32 = log10 32-log10 9

The change of base formula is as follows:
log to the base 10 of x
log to the base b of x = ----------------------------------
log to the base 10 of b

Compare this to answer choice C:

c)log8 3= log10 3/log10 8 Here x = 3 and b = 8. This is the only correct choice.

Parallel lines in space are coplanar.
kakasveta [241]
Coplanar lines are line witch lie on the same lie on the same plane. two parallel lines or two intersecting lines always lie in a plane. Thus, two line are coplanar, if and only if they are either parallel or intersecting. lines in three dimensional space are coplanar, only if they are not skewed lines.
