Answer : ∠map = 7\times17-13=119-13=106\textdegree

∠mac = 3\times17+13=51+13=64\textdegree

Explanation:

Since we have given that

∠map and ∠mac are linear pairs

So their sum wiil be supplementary

i.e. ∠map+∠mac= 180\textdegree;

7x-3+3x+13=180\textdegree\\10x+10=180\textdegree\\10x=180\textdegree-10\textdegree\\10x=170\textdegree\\x=\frac{170}{10}\\x=17\textdegree

So, ∠map = 7\times17-13=119-13=106\textdegree

and ∠mac = 3\times17+13=51+13=64\textdegree

Solve for x in terms of r, s and t : s=2x+t/r
Anna007 [38]

For this case we have the following equation:

s = \frac {2x + t} {r}

We must clear the value of the variable "x" as a function of r, s and t:

If we multiply by "r" on both sides of the equation we have:

rs =2x + t

If we subtract "t" on both sides of the equation we have:

rs-t = 2x

If we divide by "2" on both sides of the equation we have:

x = \frac {rs-t} {2}

Thus, the value of the variable "x" is:

x = \frac {rs-t} {2}

Answer:

x = \frac {rs-t} {2}

A function has x-intercept 3 and y-intercept 2. Which of the functions below could be this function?
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

we are given

x-intercept is 3

so,

a=3

y-intercept is 2

b=2

now, we can intercept formula of line

\frac{x}{a} +\frac{y}{b}=1

now, we can plug

a=3 and b=2

\frac{x}{3} +\frac{y}{2}=1

now, we will get rid of denominators

so, we can multiply both sides by 6

6*\frac{x}{3} +6*\frac{y}{2}=6*1

2x +3y=6

we can also write it as

3y-6=-2x

so, option-D..................Answer
