Answer:

Iambic pentameter

Explanation:

An iambic meter refers to lines of poetry containing iambs. An iamb is a metrical foot (a group of syllables) that has one UNSTRESSED syllable followed by a stressed syllable. Depending on the number of iambs that there are per line, they can be classified into dimeter (two iambs per line), trimester (three), tetrameter (four), pentameter (five) or hexameter (6).

In the passage, the meter that is most used is iambic pentameter and iambic tetrameter. To prove this, down below you'll find the passage with the stressed syllables underlined and in bold font, the ones that are in normal font, are the unstressed syllables:

From forth the fatal loins of these two foes = 5

A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life; = 5

Whose misadventured piteous overthrows = 4

Do with their death bury their parents' strife. = 4

Answer the following question down below in complete sentences and in your own words.
lapo4ka [179]

I think technology should be allowed in sports.

Technology can detect cheating, can decide scores, and can evaluate player performance better than any human can. It can keep track of scores better than a human as a human can forget. A human can even miss points. Technology can detect if you scored or not, making it even more efficient and accurate. It can detect the speed of the ball or the speed of the runner. Sports and technology go hand in hand and the pros outnumber the cons.

Identify the use of the introductory comma in the sentence. Whenever I go skiing, I always break a pole.
Bezzdna [24]
This one might be pretty common but it says "I like cooking my family and my pets" now that doesn't sound right at all but if you look at it with commas "I like cooking, my family, and my pets" now it might sound a little better.

Let me now if that helped have a great day.

Why does the author most likely emphasize the size of New York City ?
mote1985 [20]

I would choose a. Simply because the author talks about it as if it's all that really ever existed and that nature cannot take over what it is not. However, it goes on about seeing how erosion and rot can affect such things and tries to compare it to things in nature as if it were nature itself.
