The community can begin a clean up littering strategy, establishing places where garbage can be thrown and requiring community members to only throw garbage in those places. To ensure that this is done, the community must establish a monitoring system that can see people throwing garbage in inappropriate places and impose a punishment so that this behavior is no longer carried out.

In addition, it must be established that the selective collection is carried out in the community, because it will promote that the recyclable garbage is separated from the non-recyclable allowing the accumulation of garbage to be less and that products that use recycled raw material are produced.

Through community gatherings or meetings, anyone available can help pick up trash and work in groups(depending on the location). Like a park for example, you can have a small groups of 3-5 people and give those groups a section/area in the park to clean.

Why is the National benchmark important in the university application process ..two reasons
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

The National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) are assessments for first-year applicants into higher education institutions. The NBTs were designed to measure a writer's ability to transfer understanding of Academic Literacy, Quantitative Literacy and Mathematics to the demands of tertiary coursework.

The NBTs also help to interpret your NSC results and can be used by universities in different ways. Some use them to help make decisions about your access/application to university. This means that your NBT results, in combination with your matric results, are used to determine whether you are ready for academic study.
