Answer:

The stomatal aperture width closes once the concentration inside the leaves is normal. More amount of carbon dioxide is not required for the plant cell.

The stomatal aperture is there to maintain the level of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the plant cell. The stomatal aperture opens to intake carbon dioxide and move oxygen out of the cell.

But once the carbon dioxide concentration is optimum this width closes and then no more carbon dioxide is inhaled inside the plant cell.
