The decisions of the Supreme Court constitute precedent (binding precedent) that obliges all other courts to respect them. In addition, its judgments have the ability to repeal laws. The judges hear the arguments of the different cases and then meet to discuss it with each other. Each judge of the Court has one vote in each case. When there are at least five judges in favor of a decision, that becomes the opinion of the Court that represents the final precedent.
