Which of the following sentences is written in active voice?
stepladder [879]
C is the correct answer. Answers A, B and D are all written in passive voice, which can be pinpointed with the use of the ‘by phrase’, for example, ‘the part in the musical was hoped for [by Kylie]’. Such by phrases can be omitted in a passive and the phrase will still make sense.

Reread “In Flanders Fields” and “Dulce et Decorum Est.” How are these two poems similar in their views of World War I? How are t
Tju [1.3M]
Both authors of "In Flanders Fields" and "Dulce et Decorum Est!" chose the same historical event as the setting but these books shows the World War 1 from two absolutely different points of view. "In Flanders Fields" author praises and blesses all those warriors who protected their native land fighted for it and its future generations. While reading this story you feel persuasive tone that aimed to make you feel the same. "Dulce et Decorum Est!" shows the most appalling things that happened during the War and urges us that if we had ever been through It all it would have been the worst nightmare in our life. To conclude : in the first story author eulogizes War whereas the second warns against it.

zepelin [54]
The correct answer is B. The tents, leaking in at least a dozen places, were abandoned by the campers who were lured by the dry, warm cabin.
This is the only sentences that places the modifier leaking in at least a dozen places correctly.
A and D are incorrect because the way those two sentences are written, it would seem that the campers, and not the tents, were leaking. C is also incorrect because it seems that the warm cabins are leaking, when in fact the tents were. So B is the only correct answer.
