Prokaryotes, such as bacteria, can live without a nucleus, because they still have genetic material (DNA), within their cytoplasm. The genes within this cytoplasmic, circular DNA can transcribe and translate these genes into functional proteins. These functional proteins can then govern the structure and function of the cell(s).

In a DNA strand, this nucleotide will "pair up" with:
kirill [66]

Answer:

C.

Explanation:

Every DNA nucleotide pair will consist of one pyrimidine and one purine. Due to the chemical structures of the different bases, adenine (A) will always bind with thymine (T) and guanine (G) will bind with cytosine (C). The same is true for RNA except that A always pairs with a close relative of thymine, uracil (U).

What is the relationship of NADP and NADPH?
Lynna [10]
NADPH is the reduced form of NADP+. This simply means that NADPH has an extra hydrogen ion. NADPH is formed when upon the reduction of NADP+ . NADP stands for nicotine amide dinucleotide phosphate. It is a coenzyme that is involved in a wide range of anabolic reactions. During the synthesis of carbohydrates in plants, NADPH acts as a reducing agent, likewise in the synthesis of nucleic acids and lipids. As a reduced compound, NADPH becomes a molecule with high energy thus being especially useful in driving the Calvin cycle.

  2. Eliminate the injurious agents to prevent further increase in the infection inside the body
