Ancient Greece land was made up of many mountains and valleys that often divided Greek societies. These city-states were known as a “polis”. The “polis” often were styled as “citadels” which offered protection to citizens during times of war. With many coming to the area many of these cities flourished becoming important centers.

These polis often functioned independently and had different government styles such as oligarchy (small ruling groups), monarchy (one king or ruler) , and democracy (elections by the citizens for power).

Interference is the source of transience. The correct answer is the dopamine reward system.

The dopamine reward system in the brain is implicated in reward seeking behavior, praise and monetary rewards, addictive substances and feelings of love. When a person experiences feelings of love or passion, fMRI studies (brain scans) indicate that regions in the brain's dopamine reward system (particularly the caudate nucleus and putamen areas) show an increase in activity and functioning.
