In a eukaryotic cell, the ribosomes are found in the nucleus but since a prokaryotic cell doesn't have a nucleus, the ribosomes are floating freely in the cytoplasm. Hope this helped :)

Correct answer: D). Floating freely in the cytoplasm.

A prokaryote is an organism which does not have the nucleus and almost no membranous organelles. The nucleus is found only in eukaryotes, and each and every cell require ribosomes in order to make proteins.

Since there are no membrane-bound organelles found in prokaryotes, the ribosomes float freely in the cytoplasm.

Hence, the correct answer would be option D.

Dona is interested in cutting back on her calorie intake. Which nutrient offers the highest number of calories per gram?
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option- Fats

Explanation:

The cellular respiration can produce energy from the three substrates: Carbohydrates, proteins and Fat, the most favoured of which is Carbohydrates.

The Carbohydrates on oxidation produces 4 calories per gram, proteins also produce 4 calories per gram whereas Fats produces 9 calories per gram.

The Fats produces the highest amount of energy as fats require more oxidation to release water and carbon dioxide as compared to Carbohydrates.

Since fats provide the highest amount of energy, therefore, option- fat is the correct answer.

Create an organized list of Archaea (at least 8 from different categories) and include a picture, a description of their living
aksik [14]

Structure of Archaea

Explanation:

 • The Archaea of cytoplasm contains ribosomes for the creation of cell proteins and it have a coiled ring of DNA.
 • In contrast to microscopic organisms, the cell divider and film can be firm and give the cell a particular shape, for example, flat, rod-shaped or cubic. Qualities of the archaea-
 1. Cell dividers: for all intents and purposes all microscopic organisms contain peptidoglycan in their cell dividers be that as it may, archaea and eukaryotes lack peptidoglycan.
 2. Fatty acids: microscopic organisms and eukaryotes produce layer lipids comprising of unsaturated fats connected by ester securities to a particle of glycerol.
