The effective annual rate is 8.33%.
we can calculate the effective nominal annual rate by using this formula;
r = e∧i - 1
e is the constant = 2.718
i = compounded annual nominal rate = 8% = 0.08
r = 2.718∧ (0.08) - 1
= 1.0833 - 1
= 0.0833 = 0.0833 x 100 = 8.33%

hjlf

Answer:

Total economic investment = $15.6 million

Explanation:

Economic investment is defined as addition that contributes to a company's capital stock. Examples of capital stock are new equipment, a housing facility, or a new materials for production.

In this scenario the addition to capital stock is by 12 restaurant buildings and additional equipment

Economic investment by building = 12 buildings * 1 million = $12 million

Economic investment from equipment = 12 buildings * 300,000 = $3,600,000

Total economic investment = 12 million + 3,600,000 = $15.6 million

Ecolap Inc. (ECL) recently paid a $1.26 dividend. The dividend is expected to grow at a 20.16 percent rate. At a current stock p
user100 [1]

Answer:

Expected return will be 22.65 %

Explanation:

We have given recently paid dividend = $1.26

Growth rate g = 20.16 %

Current stock price P_0=60.12 $

Next year dividend D_1=D_0(1+g)=1.26\times (1+0.2016)=1.26\times 1.2016=1.514

We have to find the expected return K_e

We know that current stock price is equal to P_0=\frac{D_1}{K_e-g}

60.72=\frac{1.514}{K_e-0.2016}

60.72 K_e - 12.241 = 1.514

60.72 K_e = 13.755

K_e = 0.2265 = 22.65 %

So expected return will be 22.65 %

A. Equivalent units of production for materials Materials

Total equivalent units= 9100 + (7100*100%)

Total equivalent units= 9100+7100

Total equivalent units= 16,200

B.Equivalent units of production for conversion costs

Total equivalent units= 9100+ (7100*40%)

Total equivalent units=9100+2840

Total equivalent units= 11,940

Therefore the equivalent units of production for (a) materials is 16,200 and (b) conversion costs for the month of November is 11,940

Cash receipts for January are expected to total $171,000. Cash disbursements for January are expected to be $158,000. The compan
Monica [59]

Answer:

Expected cash balance = $48000

Explanation:

Given

Cash receipts = 171000

Cash disbursements = 158000

Starting period = 35000

Minimum desired cash balance = 10000

From the above,

Cash available = Cash receipts + starting period

= 171000 + 35000

= 206000

Therefore,

Cash balance at the month end

= Cash available - Cash disbursements (payments)

= 206000 - 158000

= $48000
