The effective annual rate is 8.33%.
we can calculate the effective nominal annual rate by using this formula;
r = e∧i - 1
e is the constant = 2.718
i = compounded annual nominal rate = 8% = 0.08
r = 2.718∧ (0.08) - 1
= 1.0833 - 1
= 0.0833 = 0.0833 x 100 = 8.33%

6. (a) Outline two forms of assistance given to Entrepreneurs by the government.
AfilCa [17]

A. One form of assistance given to entrepreneurs by the government is subsidized loans through the Small Business Administration to help get started. Local governments may help entrepreneurs by giving them tax incentives like not charging them property taxes for a set period of time if they locate their new business in their town or county.

B. The government should assist entrepreneurs because new businesses normally mean new jobs, and it is very important to keep the job market healthy. Another reason that they should help entrepreneurs is because small businesses often make big contributions to society, so by helping the small businesses they are helping people in general. For example, a small business that takes care of elderly people in their home are improving the quality of life for the elderly people so that they don’t need to move to a nursing home.

The use of collateral A. allows banks to charge higher interest rates on loans. B. makes it more costly for borrowers to take ad
Marat540 [252]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. The use of collateral makes it more costly for borrowers to take advantage of their asymmetric information.

Explanation:

In finance, a collateral or guarantee is a transferable asset or a surety, or even a promise of guarantee, used to cover the credit risk during financial transactions in the event that the borrower cannot meet his payment obligations.

A secured loan means a loan in which the borrower commits certain assets as a guarantee of credit, this the latter then becoming a partially secured debt for the creditor who made this loan.

The guarantee may consist of cash (pledge of cash account in retail bank, cash-collateral in investment bank) or securities.

Another form consists of a simple commitment: commitment by signature of a bank towards its client, promise of collateral or mortgage, letter of intent.

Kruka [31]

"Customer departmentalization" organizational structures Fhontrake most likely follow.

Explanation:

Such departmentalization of consumers is where the operations of the company are prepared to respond and communicate with individual customers or groups of customers.

This hierarchical style is used when you put strong emphasis on representing various types of customers successfully, thus understood as customer departmentalization. For an enterprise that has products or services tailored to specific market segments, the customer-based structure is optimal, particularly if that company has specific knowledge of those segments.
