Mohandas Gandhi
popularly known as "Mahatma" or "Bapu" in Indian
subcontinent was a prominent leaders of India who was born in 1869.<span>

Indian to buy salt, a basic dietary ingredient in Indian cuisines, Gandhi
started a "Civil Disobedience" or as he called it
"Satyagraha" by symbolically violating the laws of British Raj and

Negatives: Poll tax affected poor Americans. After the right to vote was extended to all races (black people) a number of states enacted poll tax.. so basically they did that because they knew a lot of black people didn’t have money like that and didn’t want them to vote.
