Answer:

The correct answer would be "transcription".

Transcription is the process by which mRNA is synthesized by using one of the DNA strands as the template.

The whole process is catalyzed by the enzyme RNA polymerase.

It can be divided mainly into three steps:

Initiation: The DNA strands break apart and lead to the formation of the transcription bubble. The RNA polymerase enzyme forms the complex at the promoter region of template strand of the DNA.

Elongation: The RNA polymerase adds RNA nucleotides to the growing chain of the mRNA molecule based on the nucleotide sequence of the template strand.

Termination: RNA polymerase, associated proteins, and mRNA molecule dissociate from the DNA molecule.

jeka57 [31]

Answer:

a. It's a carrier protein doing facillitated diffusion

Explanation:

Facilitated diffusion may be defined as the transportation of molecules from a high concentration to a low concentration that is down the concentration gradient without input of the energy. Whereas the active transport is transportation of the molecules from the low concentration to the high concentration which is against concentration gradient by the membrane protein.

The glucose transportation process requires membrane protein for the transport and does not require any energy. Therefore, it is carrier protein which is doing the facilitated diffusion.
