Answer:

a. osteoblasts

b. osteoid

Explanation:

Osteoblasts are the fundamental cell of bone tissue. They are the cells that synthesize the bone matrix called osteoid from which it is made from the skeleton of bone fish, to the skeleton of humans. Since the bone skeleton is an evolutionary paraphiletic characteristic (it is present in several taxonomic groups that have evolved from the same ancestor).

Osteoblasts are responsible for the development and growth of bones during the juvenile stage of individuals and are also responsible for maintaining adult bone and regenerating bone when it breaks.

Osteogenesis is the process of differentiation of osteoblasts. The cells from which osteoblasts differ are called osteoprogenitors. The differentiation of osteoprogenitor cells, which come from the mesoderm, periosteum or bone marrow, is induced by growth factors called bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs), capable of inducing the growth of bone, cartilage or connective tissue. When an osteoprogenitor cell receives a BMP signal, it quickly begins to express the genes to generate collagen, osteonectin and alkaline phosphatase, among other compounds necessary for bone growth. When the bone grows, it ends up wrapping some of the osteoblasts and they lose their ability to replicate, at that time they are dedicated to bone maintenance and not to their synthesis and are called osteocytes.

olga2289 [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is -

1. protein synthesis or central dogma

2. leads to changes in the structure by changing in the codes which results in a decrease or loss of function.

Explanation:

1, Protein is made from the information coded in DNA base sequences by the two process protein synthesis that is also called central dogma. The two-process involve in this are transcription involves encoding the information present in DNA by mRNA molecule that codes the information in complementary sequence to DNA. which is then moved out of the nucleus and perform the translation with help of tRNA and ribosome to code the amino acid with help of triplet codes present in mRNA. These amino acids chain are called proteins.

2. Mutations can lead to change in the base sequences or deletion of the base which affects the structure of the protein and also leads to changes in an encoded protein or to a decrease or complete loss in its function or expression. Mutation can damage the cell or organism as it affects the gene expression of all cells of organisms.

Scientists say that photosynthesis and cellular respiration are reciprocal processes. Why
ANTONII [103]

Cellular respiration and photosynthesis are essentially opposite processes. Photosynthesis is the process by which organisms make high-energy compounds -- the sugar glucose in particular -- through the chemical "reduction" of carbon dioxide (CO2). Cellular respiration, on the other hand, involves the breakdown of glucose and other compounds through chemical "oxidation." Photosynthesis consumes CO2 and produces oxygen. Cellular respiration consumes oxygen and produces CO2.
