Israeli acute paralysis virus is the virus that was believed to be a cause of the destruction of hundreds of thousands of honey bee colonies in North American and European countries in 2007. This virus is one of the viral diseases occurred in bees.

EXPLANATION:

There are five main types of viral diseases occurred in bees and its virus:

• Cripaviridae

• Chronic bee paralysis virus

• Syndrome 1: abnormal quivering of the body and wings occurs.

• Syndrome 2: affected bees can fly, but are nearly hairless.

• Dicistroviridae

• Acute bee paralysis virus has a part in the sudden collapse of the colony's honey bee contaminated with the parasitic mite Varroa destructor.

• Israeli acute paralysis virus has an indicator related to colony collapse disorder.

• Kashmir bee virus is associated with the previous viruses and is presently only positively recognizable by a laboratory test.

• Black queen cell virus makes the queen larva to become black and die.

• Cloudy wing virus is a small, little-studied, icosahedral virus normally found in honey bees, particularly in collapsing colonies infiltrated by Varroa destructor, giving the contingent indication that the mite possibly will act as a vector.

• Sacbrood virus transforms affected larvae to gray and finally black from the pearly white. Death happens when the larvae are standing, just before pupation.

• Iflaviridae

• Deformed wing virus is the causal agent of the wing and other body abnormalities normally seen in the colonies of honeybee that are immensely infected with the parasitic mite Varroa destructor.

• Kakugo virus is an iflavirus contaminating bees; varroa mites may facilitate its prevalence.

• Iridoviridae

• Invertebrate iridescent virus type 6 (IIV-6) makes the colonies collapse.

• Secoviridae

• Tobacco ringspot virus, a plant pathogen, was defined to contaminate honeybees through contaminated pollen, but this uncommon claim was soon disputed and continues to be approved.

• Lake Sinai virus was detected in bees, pollen, and mites. The virus just actively duplicates in mason bees (Osmia cornuta) and honey bees, not in Varroa mites.

The answer is the Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus (IAPV).

Further Explanation:

IAPV is a prevalent RNA virus of ‘honey bees’ that has been connected with colony losses. It was first identified in the year 2004. The result drew instantly ‘international attention’ to the ‘risks of viruses’ infection in the honey bees.

It is a virus of the ‘Dicistroviridae family’ that affects bees and leads to the death of bees and also colony collapse disorder. The virus is prevalent in Australia, the USA, and Middle East but it has also been seen in Europe.

It is injected by the ‘mite Varroa destructor’ that feeds adult’s bodily fluids, larval bees and pupal. Symptoms of IAPV are progressing to paralysis, shivering wings, and death outside of the hive.

MaRussiya [10]

Since Ben believes he inherited a genetic predisposition to develop a depressive disorder, a biopsychosocial psychologist would consider Ben's genetic profile a diathesis.

The diathesis-stress model is a theory that explains the development of mental disorders, such as depressive disorder, from genetic or biological predisposition.

Diathesis occurs from the combination of stressful factors experienced by the individual, which can be a facilitating cause for the development of the mental disorder.

Therefore, diathesis is the individual's genetic or biological predisposition to develop a mental disorder influenced by psychosocial vulnerability and internal and external experiences that can cause some kind of stress.

zhuklara [117]

There are two types of choices when one makes a vote:

 • The Rational Choice: A "rational" voter is conscious that voting is a personal right that is attributed to each and every one of the citizens of a given country. It is up to that voter's criteria to discern which candidate to vote for.
 • The Collective Voting Choice: A "collective" voter will probably tend to conform with a group he or she belongs and vote according to the choice that the group has convened to be the best. People that belong to political parties or other organizations tend to be collective voters.

Regarding the case mentioned in the question, when a voter assesses a candidate's past performance, regardless of the political affiliation of this candidate, he is engaging in a "rational" vote.
