PLEASE HELP FAST! <br> what is the value of tanX<br> A) 7/18<br> B 18/7
Luden [163]
<h2>Hello!</h2>

The answer is:

The value of Tan(x) is:

\frac{7}{24}

<h2>Why?</h2>

Since we want to know the value of Tan(x), we need to use the following formula:

Tan(x)=\frac{Opposite}{Adjacent(XZ)}

We already know the opposite side, but we need to find the value of the distance "XZ",so, we can calculate it using the Pythagorean Theorem since it's a right triangle.

Let be:

a=25\\b=7

Then, finding "XZ" we have:

a^{2}=b^{2}+c^{2}\\ \\25^{2}=7^{2}+c^{2} \\\\c^{2}=625-49\\\\c=\sqrt{576}=24

Now, finding the value of Tan(x), we have:

Tan(x)=\frac{opposite}{adjacent}\\\\Tan(x)=\frac{7}{24}

Hence, we have that the value of Tan(x) is:

\frac{7}{24}

Have a nice day!

I NEED A GOOD DEFFINET ANSWER I SUCK AT THESE TYPE OF QUESTIONS
Lady_Fox [76]

I don't even actually need to work this one out. The rule between the volumes of a cylinder and a cone is that is they have the same height and diameter, the the volume of the cone is one-third that of the cylinder. But in this case the cone's height is three times that of the cylinder. So I predict that their volumes are the exact same. But working it out, the volume of a cylinder is V=πr2h, and plugging in all the appropriate values the volume of the cylinder is 251.33 square inches. And the volume of a cone is V=πr2(h/3), and plugging in the values given to me here the volume of the cone is 251.33 square inches. Therefore their volume is the same.

Vadim26 [7]
= 2x + 11

Steps

(8x+9) -(6x-2)

Remove ( a ) = a

8x + 9 - 6x + 2

Simplify

8x+ 9 - 6x + 2: 2x + 11

= 2x + 11 <----- your answer

Please tell me if this was right

Which expression is equivalent to 1/6 (2x+3y)
gogolik [260]

Answer:

x/3+y/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello, to find the equivalent expression in this equation, you would first distribute the 1/6 to 2x+3y like this:

2x(1/6)+3y(1/6)

Then, you multiply and you would get x/3+y/2. And that would be the answer.
