The salient features of this case are severe headache, high grade fever, and a stiff neck (nuchal rigidity). These are classic signs and symptoms of meningitis. Therefore the nurse should look for other signs and symptoms that will support the diagnosis of meningitis with the hallmark of meningeal inflammation (i.e. Brudzinski's sign, Kernig's sign, passive neck flexion test, etc.)

What is the thing that represents mitosis?<br>(and it has to be a living thing)
goldfiish [28.3K]

In plant cells, the first part of mitosis is the same as in animal cells. (Interphase, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase). Then, where an animal cell would go through cytokineses, a plant cell simply creates a new cell plate in the middle, creating two new cells.

Read the Mungo Lady and Mungo Man Do others in the field of anthropology agree with Dr. Thorne's view? Explain.
sweet [91]
I've read the story back a couple months ago

Actually, there are many archeologists and anthropologists disagree with dr. Thorne's view. Basically, Thorne strongly believes that what many calls Homo erectus was, in fact, Homo sapiens, and that they migrated out of Africa almost 2 million years ago and dispersed throughout Europe and Asia. That would actually be very different from what scientists have always believed about the evolution of the species. That is why many of them are against him)

I hope I helped :)

sesenic [268]

Answer:

D. 1000000

Explanation:

Adrenaline signaling occurs when the the hormones clings to the cell surface of the Adrenaline receptor.

The total modified protein target molecules resulting from a single activated signal receptor is 1,000,000 and this results in the consumption of 100 molecules of Guanosine triphosphate (GTP) and 1,010,000 molecules of Adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
