The period of stunning development and innovation in China during the Tang and Song dynasties is called the Golden Age. It is often said that the Golden Age existed during the Tang Period and was founded by Emperor Gaozu on the 18th of June 618 and there were big developments during this time in art, literature (specifically poetry) and technology.
