On the other hand,  Nannie Helen Burroughs who lived between 1879 – 1961, was popular for her works as an African-American educator and orator. Specifically, her popularity increased after she delivered her speech titled "How the Sisters Are Hindered from Helping"

She is the founder of National Training School for Women and Girls in Washington, D.C. and often times considered as a business woman.
