What is the effects of deserts and rivers for Mesopotamia and Egypt

History
1 answer:
Paul [167]3 years ago

The deserts helped the Egyptians because the deserts have scorching heat. The large desert areas were not favorable to humans or animals. This kept Egypt isolated from outside invaders. The Nile River's physical features also provided protection. The delta marshes stopped invaders who sailed from the Mediterranean Sea. Also the Nile's cataracts prevented enemy ships from attacking Egypt. Because of these physical features the Egyptians rarely faced the danger of invasion.

Which part of the Colombian exchange involved both plants and animals?
nika2105 [10]
The Columbian Exchange spread different plants all over the world. It spread sugar cane, bananas, wheat, and coffee beans to the New World. It also spread maize, pineapples, tomatoes, and potatoes to the Old World. The Columbian Exchange brought horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and a collection of other useful species to the Americas. Before Columbus, Native American societies in the high Andes had domesticated llamas and alpacas, but no other animals weighing more than 45 kg (100 lbs).

raketka [301]

Answer:

Not exactly. There are people who refine raw foods, treat them, or transport them. For example, some people transport the foods that farmers themselves produce. Others bake or cook said products. Learning how to properly refine harvested crops is incredibly important in baking, cooking, or processing. Basic culinary training is a must. Typically all three of these classes would either work in shops/small businesses, factories, or commercial/industrial kitchens.
