The surface area of a cube uses the formula 6a^2  where a is any side length.

We know that the box has a side length of 8.5 inches.

SA = 6*8.5^2

SA= 433.5  

Now multiply the surface area by the money.

433.5 * 0.025 = 10.8375  

Round 10.8375 to dollars and cents as it is required.

10.8375 = 10.84

Which means it will cost $10.84 to wrap the box.
