Is black and white a color?

I believe black and white are not colors.  They are just made from all the other colors, but technically they are not colors.  Hope this was correct!

Nope. Black is a a form of shading and white is a form of lighting.

However, black does come from the primary color blue. If you want to get technical it is just a very very dark blue but it's still a shading nonetheless.
