Think about something you might want to rent. An instrument? A book? A piece of equipment? Do some Internet research and find an

organization in your city that can rent you an item of interest. Find the Terms of Agreement, the period of rental, and any penalties or late fees. Are there any special terms of use or waivers? Now, imagine that you are an employee of that same organization. Write a brief narrative taking the point of view of the store employee talking with a customer. Imagine the customer did not know anything about the Terms of Agreement. Be sure that your character explains the Terms of Agreement, as well as the details about the item being rented. Be sure to include a beginning, middle, and end to your story as well as details. Consider starting your story with the line: "It was a long day at [enter name of company here] when this [enter description here] looking customer came up to me and began asking me questions about [enter product description] that they wanted to rent..." Do you want your story to take a serious or comedic tone? Have fun with the details, but be sure to include the information about the Terms of Agreement for the customer. Your narrative should be at least 150-250 words in length. View the rubric for this assignment.

Many people leave their home towns and move to different cities to study, for work, for business or for better lifestyle. The first thing they need in the new city is a place to stay. Given that it’s not easy to buy a home to live in as soon as you move to a new city, especially in metros, most people tend to take a flat on rent. But before you take a property on rent, it is prudent to know the terms and conditions and execute a rent agreement.

A rent agreement ensures you have legal recourse later in case there is a problem between you and your landlord, which is why it’s important to be careful about the clauses included in the agreement. Here are a few must-have clauses for the rent agreement.

The question above wants to assess your ability to interpret a text and analyze a character. For that reason, it's not correct for me to write the answer for you, but I'll show you how to answer them.

First, you must read the text and identify the protagonist of the story, that is, you need to identify the main character.

This character is the one to which all the events in the story are related. Since all elements of the story revolve around him or her.

You can answer the questions about this character as follows:

  1. Physical Appearance: Show what the character looks like, describe height, hair color, eye color, skin color, and anything else related to appearance.
  2. Feelings: Show if this character is happy, sad, anxious, angry, scared, hopeful, or whatever other feelings he has.
  3. Attitude: Describe this character's behavior and how he acts in situations in which he is involved.

About the elements of the story, you can identify them as follows:

  • Exhibition: It is the beginning of the story where the basic elements are presented. These elements are the characters and the setting.

  • Rising action: This shows when the tension in the story starts to rise as the story is reaching its main event.

  • Climax: This refers to the most important moment in the story, where the character is facing the biggest challenge. This is the tensest moment in the story.

  • Falling action: It's the moment that happens after the main moment of the story when the character's biggest challenge has already been overcome. At that point, the tension starts to fall and the story starts to come to an end.

  • Resolution: It is the end of the story where the conclusion is presented.
