An adjective is that word always located next to a noun. Its function is to describe said noun demonstrating a quality of it, qualifying it or showing concrete or abstract property.
There is a large number of adjectives in Spanish, they can be qualifiers, demonstrative, numerals, possessives, etc.
In addition to that, the adjectives must coincide in gender and number with respect to the noun they are describing.
