Renewables provide several benefits for people in poverty. For one, new jobs would be created inside the countries installing and maintaining the systems. By bringing the energy sector within countries, governments will no longer be reliant on imports and will be able to redirect funds into social programs that will better benefit the poor. Renewables such as solar panels could be easily implemented in rural areas without the need to invest in expansive transmission lines. Essentially, renewables could easily bring electricity to impoverished people in a very short amount of time. Businesses could thrive by being able to stay open longer, and children could spend more time studying rather than collecting fuel to cook with.

Edwards became known widely for his fiery sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," which implored parishioners to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ before they were banished to hell as nonbelievers. His sermons and writings embraced the idea of free will, along with a firm confidence in God's righteousness. During the fiery Great Awakening, Edwards became a lighting rod for a movement that became a widespread religious revival.

Helen [10]
The correct answer is (C).  During the period of detente, Brezhnev continued to develop the Soviet military. He continued to build nuclear weapons that had the capacity to strike Western Europe and North America, continued to manufacture armaments and military vessels, and continued to build up the size of the Soviet military.  These actions lead to the United States and its allies to doubt Brezhnev's intentions to heal relations with other nations and work toward an easing of military and political hostilities.
