Answer:

33,3

Step-by-step explanation:

Set it up as a proportion in correspondence with their unit of measurement:

\frac{16}{21,3} = \frac{25}{?} → \frac{[21,3][25]}{16} → \frac{532,5}{16} = 33,28125 \\ \\ 33,3 ≈ P

I hope this is correct, and as always, I am joyous to assist anyone at any time.

Can someone help me with question 3
djyliett [7]

2. Alana needs to sell 52 boxes of cookies:

She sold 7 boxes to her aunt

She sold 2 boxes to her mother

She sold 15 boxes to her neighbor

you add 7+2+15 = 24 boxes of cookies that she sold

We need to find out how many more boxes of cookies she needs to sell-

We take the 24 boxes she sold and subtract from 52 boxes that she needs to sell.

24 - 52 = 30

The answer is 30, she needs to sell 30 more boxes.

3.  Sam, Jimmy and Andre shared a number of pennies in the ratio 8:5:3

Sam (8), Jimmy (5) and Andre (3)

How many more pennies did Jimmy receive than Andre?

you subtract 3 - 5 = 2

The answer is 2 more pennies.

4. Jamila spent $33.00 and Akiko spent $ 42.00

Jamila  had 4 times as much money left as Akiko. How much money did each of them have in the beginning?

Since Akiko spent the highest amount- you will have to go with the higher amount to find the answer

4 x $42.00 = $168.00

They both in the beginning had $168.00

I hope this helps.

Please help me with this homework question. No silly answers please and no bots! I will mark brainliest to whoever gets all them
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

The formula for the area of the triangle is:

\displaystyle A=24x^2

When <em>x</em> = 3, the area is 216 square centimeters.

When <em>x </em>= 2.4, the area is 138.24 square centimeters.

And when <em>x</em> = 5, the hypotenuse of the triangle is 50 centimeters.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given a right triangle with a height of 8<em>x</em> and a base of 6<em>x</em>.

The area of a triangle is given by the formula:

\displaystyle A=\frac{1}{2}bh

So, by substitution:

\displaystyle A=\frac{1}{2}(8x)(6x)=24x^2

When <em>x </em>= 3, the area will be:

\displaystyle A(3)=24(3)^2=216\text{ cm}^2

And when <em>x</em> = 2.4, the area will be:

A(2.4)=24(2.4)^2=138.24\text{ cm}^2

When <em>x </em>= 5, the height will be 8(5) = 40 cm and the base will be 6(5) = 30 cm.

By the Pythagorean Theorem:

a^2+b^2=c^2

So:

(40)^2+(30)^2=c^2

The hypotenuse will be:

c=\sqrt{1600+900}=\sqrt{2500}=50\text{ cm}

What would be the equation and how can I solve it
Blababa [14]
If alonzo is x then the equation is

x + (x +3) + 2(x + 3) = 57

Which equals

x + x + 3 + 2x + 6 = 57
4x + 9 = 57
4x = 48
x = 12

This means alonzo is 12 years old and alexis is 3 years older so alexis is 15 years old

Answer = 15 years old

What is the solution to the system of equations below?
Karolina [17]

Answer:

The solution is the point (18,0)

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

y=-\frac{1}{3}x+6 -----> equation A

y=\frac{1}{3}x-6 -----> equation B

Solve the system by substitution

substitute equation B in equation A

\frac{1}{3}x-6=-\frac{1}{3}x+6

solve for x

Adds (1/3)x both sides

\frac{1}{3}x-6+\frac{1}{3}x=6

\frac{2}{3}x-6=6

Adds 6 both sides

\frac{2}{3}x=6+6

\frac{2}{3}x=12

x=12(3)/2\\x=18

<em>Find the value of y</em>

substitute the value of x in equation A or equation B

y=-\frac{1}{3}(18)+6=0

therefore

The solution is the point (18,0)
