What forced Russia to discontinue fighting in World War I
den301095 [7]
The answer is C.

The Russian leaders were so clumsy and irresponsible. They poorly trained there troops and supplied so little that it caused the Russian army to become null and inoperative. Russian leaders had poor decision making, thus, destroying the trust of the troops. This led to the desertion of Russian troops and even the assassination of their own leaders. The soldiers even formed little groups that would not anymore follow orders but would decide by their own what to do during the war.

____________________ renewed the American spirit and provided jobs for 2,500 people.
yawa3891 [41]

The correct answer would be C.

Bootlegging Alcohol didn't really give anyone jobs, except allow for members of crime families to gain money. As for Penny Auctions they didn't create jobs for the Americans at that point. The 21st Amendment may of renewed some American spirit, allowing for alcohol to be bought and sold legally, but this didn't provide many jobs.

The best answer would be C, as the construction of the Empire State Building helped grant jobs and helped show the people they've got to keep going. As for the construction of other major landmarks, Hoover Dam, and Statue of Liberty. This gave people a lifted spirit and provided jobs.
