Hi! Dear Friend!

I am writing  you in order to ask you please be reasonable. I know you have been believing about ghosts and sorcery but there have never been scientific proof of those facts. First of all all you have heard are myths, second you have never had such experiences so how are you going to believe in something you haven't seen or heard.

I am really sorry my dear friend but please instead of getting along with gossips try to alway keep your mind in actual facts and not in "cha chara" as latino's people say.

Please let me know if we can meet and have a chat about this nonsense.

Kind regards.

In this excerpt from George Orwell's essay Marrakech, the author uses figurative language as a literary device. In 3-5 sentences
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

<em>'He is the same colour </em><em>as </em><em>the earth, and a great deal less interesting to look at.'</em>

Explanation:

George Orwell uses Simile, a figurative language device that compares two things using the adverbs like or as.

When describing the people working on the land he refers to them as the unvisible part of a (beautiful) visible landscape. This is a very subtle way of critisizing the British Empire that ignores (they don´t see them) the working people who, seen by Orwell, are doing important work.
