You just find the area of the triangle, and do that times 4 that number. The formula for finding the area of a triangle is half the base times the height 3 * 9 = 27. So the area of the triangle is 27 and the area of all 4 of the triangles would just be 27 * 4 = 108. Now for the square. Formula for finding the area of a square is length times width which would be 6 * 6 = 36. So then you do 36 + 108 = 144

So the area of the net is 144M

How will the solution of the system y > 2x + and y < 2x + change if the inequality sign on both inequalities is reversed t
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

The System of inequality is ,

1. y > 2 x + p

2. y < 2 x + p

Suppose we assign some values to p and q and draw its graph

And, then the inequality sign on both inequalities is reversed

3. y < 2 x + p

4. y > 2 x + p

And , then draw it's graph

it has been found that, the solution set of both the inequality remains same.That is there is no point or set of points , which satisfy both the system of inequality.

The system has no solution.

The value of savings account can be modeled by the function S(x) = 5, 000 * (1.025) ^ (0.7x) x is the number of years 1980. What
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

The approximate growth rate of the savings account is 2.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the the function S(x) = 5, 000 * (1.025) ^ (0.7x)

From the function, we can see that part: (1.025). It presents for the growth factor or rate with the formula as:

(1 + r) where r is rate

So we have:

(1 + r) = 1.025

<=> r = 1.025 -1

<=> r = 0.025

In pecentage, we have the rare: 0.025 *100% = 2.5%

So the approximate growth rate of the savings account is 2.5%
