Here's a few funny things:

"Make no mistake -- they're coming for our guns. And we freedom-loving gun lovers are totally defenseless!

Other than, you know, the guns." –Stephen Colbert

"Maybe this is crazy, but I think the right to own a gun is trumped by the right not to be shot by one." -Andy Borowitz

<span>"Thousands of dead fish have now washed up on shore along the coast of South Carolina. Today the NRA said that this wouldn't have happened if those fish had guns." –Jay Leno</span>

Hope it helps! :)

7. A student would like to convince her classmates to join her in a local protest
noname [10]

Answer:

A short video presented on social media showing the effects of gun violence and clips of other protests around the country, using music and text as support.

Explanation:

- letter to the local newspaper would attract more of the community and you would have to get the newspaper as an outlet for your protest, not the best way to appeal to your classmates...

- social media is a great platform to appeal to young people, espesially if the young people look up to you, plus visuals have power

- nobody wants to hear why they should attend, they want to be educated on why the issue itself, not the protest, is important and worth protesting

- that may be effective but boring for most students who would prefer visuals that are snappy and right to the point.
