Read the passage. His front wheel struck the edge of the shell, flipped the turtle like a tiddly-wink, spun it like a coin, and

rolled it off the highway. The truck went back to its course along the right side. Lying on its back, the turtle was tight in its shell for a long time. But at last its legs waved in the air, reaching for something to pull it over. In this excerpt from John Steinbeck’s “The Turtle,” what is significant about the turtle’s actions after it has been hit by the truck?
It is angry at the world for the incident.
It takes time to recover but never gives up.
It is easily scared away from its goal.
It is trying to figure out what it wants.

The answer should be B. It takes time to recover but never gets up. I believe that is the answer because of how the passage says, "the turtle was tight in it's shell for a log time. But at last it's legs waved in the air, reaching for something to pull it over." sorry about the long answer, i just wanted to show my reasoning behind my answer. Hope this helps :)
