Minority groups of people are, as is obvious from the very term itself, those that belong to the minority section of the society. Their practices, be it religious, traditions, customs, and race/ ethnicity are lesser in number as compared to the major sections of the whole population of the place.
As such, this group of people is given rights or 'privileges' in the society or workforce where they are given 'reservations'. This reservation policy or quota allows or rather prioritizes them for the job, and gives them a chance to be hired or given the job.
