malfutka [58]

Answer: Some reasons for abolishing the Electoral College and introducing direct vote for the candidate are the following

1) voting would be more transparent and understandable to voters

2) voters might be more motivated to vote because their vote would have more direct influence

3) a sitation when a president did not get a majority of votes would not be possible (as it is now).

mrs_skeptik [129]
The gap was smallest in the north and widest in the south where registration of voters as well as voting was systematically frustrated despite there being of constitutional instruments that postured against it. in some voting centers and registrations centers in the south blacks were literally sent away.

How did the Cherokee try to stop Americans from taking their land?
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer:

With the growing threat of being relocated, they adopted the "white man" ways. Several ways they did this was by building houses, making an alphabet, building schools and churches, and making a Constituition (based off the Constitution of the US). Ultimately, it all went in vain; they got relocated anyways because President Andrew Jackson pass the Indian Removal Act.
