How do you get the width for this

Mathematics

I would be careful. The problem says the rectangle's perimeter is equal to 30.

That means all the sides added up are equal to 30.

That one side is 6 in. That means the opposite is also 6.

6+6= 12

Subtract from 30 (the perimeter)

30-12= 18

Divide 18 by 2 for the remaining two sides (since the other two sides are equal)

18/2= 9

The width is equal to 9.

We can also find the area.

Area= length*width

6 (the length) * 9 (the width)= 54

I hope this helps!

Answer:

33.49 mm³

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of volume of sphere

=  \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3}

The volume of the sphere

=  \frac{4}{3}  \times 3.14 \times  {2}^{3}

=  \frac{100.48}{3}

= 33.4933333...

= 33.49 mm³ (rounded to the nearest hundredth)

The sum of two non-zero numbers a and b equals the sum of their reciprocals. If a+b≠0, what is the product of the two numbers?
Vadim26 [7]

Answer:

ab = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

A Reciprocal of a number is a number which when multiplied by the original number yields the multiplicative number, 1.

So the reciprocal of x would be x⁻¹ or ¹⁄ₓ

The information we are given states that the sum of the two non-zero numbers a and b equals the sum of their reciprocals.

So we can write this into an equation and solve,

(See image)

Once we solve, we get the equation (ab-1)(a+b) = 0

We are given info that a+b≠0

So for the above equation to be true, ab-1 has to equal 0

For <em>this</em> to be true, the product ab must equal 1
