The Gardens of Babylon were amazing engineer constructions that King Nebuchadnezzar (605 BC) built for his homesick wife to resemble the gardens of her hometown. He used slaves to construct them. They consisted of terraces raised one above another resting upon hollow pillars filled with earth to allow trees of the largest size to flourish.
