The mood is resentful since the author resented the mother thought it even though he didn’t state it. It was expressed through out it.

In what way does the first line of "london, 1802" vary from the traditional iambic pattern? the word milton is an iamb the word
Tresset [83]

The word milton is a trochee.

A trochee is a metric foot with a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed syllable. Milton is pronounced MILton. If Milton was an iamb, it would not vary from the traditional iambic pattern. Milton cannot be a dactyl because a dactyl is three syllables. The first syllable is stressed and is followed by two stressed syllables.

Sveta_85 [38]

it is a hyperbole..

Hyperbole is when you use language to exaggerate what you mean or emphasize a point. It's often used to make something sound much bigger and better than it actually is or to make something sound much more dramatic. Hyperbole is a figure of speech.

Please help urgently!
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

Dear Cousin,

I agree with Paine when he said that the colonies need independence from Great Britain. Our colonies have been striving well. We can make our own naval fleet bigger than the British Navy. If we build our own, then maybe we can grow and trade with other countries with much ease. We should not depend on Britain, because we will never grow as a nation. Independence will allow us to grow and prosper, much bigger than the country that has colonized us.

Your cousin,

Blank
