A round character is someone who will change when an event happens. Paula still left her window open, Ben did not keep in contact with his best friend, and Sam did not study more to get a higher grade. A character in a story that is described as "round" is more realistic acting and will behave/act in like a person in real life.

i suppose that it means that it means what it says. this is from the poem "Lost Generation", right? unless we choose to turn around on this path we're taking and make everything the opposite of what it states in the poem, then there can be hope, happiness will come from within, etc.
I think Christopher Paul Curtis wrote the Watson go to Birmingham to show the world today what it was like back then and why it was like that and who had more rights and making it relatable
Another reason I think he wrote it to express how he was feeling and show the racism there was and the way that black’s were treated and the way black’s go hurt for no reason and to show us what happened to the African American people during that time of battle.
