The countries that won the war were focused on collecting war reparations. So Wilson withdrew from the negotiations but was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. Germany was declared the main culprit for the war. All the colonies were taken from Germany and had to pay huge war damages. Such conditions of peace will contribute to the strengthening of extreme nationalism in Germany and help Hitler come to power.

People question the ruling of Plessy v. Ferguson, but could not change the past. Thurgood Marshall was the lead lawyer in the case.
