Answer:

Categorical grants are the main source of federal aid used for one specific purpose with strings attached. Block grants are given to states or communities and they decide how to spend the money. States prefer block grants because there are less strings attached and the money can be used for a broader purpose.

Because they don't want to have to spend the money on specific things, they might want a block grant where they have more freedom with the money

Besides job boards linked in career bulider and monster. What are some alternative sources of employment opportunities not often
galina1969 [7]
People could go door to door giving their CVs and asking if there are jobs. Many people think that this isn't a way to get a job but they would be surprised how many times it works. Often companies conduct their interviews on the spot. Another way is putting billboards over the city with a brief resume, people have successfully done this throughout history too.

A compulsory voting law is a very bad idea. Citizens who do not wish to vote are usually the citizens who do not follow current affairs and would not know for which candidate to vote. Having a person “just pick one“ would not enhance the results of any public election.

Which constitutional principle is supported by Amendment IV?
never [62]

Balance between government and individual freedom is the constitutional principle supported by Amendment IV.

Option A

Explanation:

The fourth amendment is about securing people's rights and freedom, the amendment is in regard to the protection of people from the state's actions that are not based upon the reason and probable cause the crime or any other kind of legal offence has been committed. It is to maintain individual safety along with national safety as a whole.

Like after 9/11 National Security Agency (NSA) increased their efforts for public safety but without disturbing individual freedom. So, both these things are opposite to balance but are possible.

Are laws against Holocaust denial and other hate speech good or bad? Consider the possible benefits of the laws as well as drawb
Naddik [55]
These laws are bad. Creating legal repercussions for someone who simply has a viewpoint that differs from the mainstream (albeit a very odd viewpoint) is similar to the thought police in the book "1984". People should not be prosecuted for ideas, no matter how wrong those ideas or feelings are.
