D. tt

Because T is dominant and will always be expressed if it is present, if a TT plant or Tt plant were to cross it would give 100% y’all plants since each offspring would have a dominant T gene. The only way to have 50% tall and 50% not tall would be to mate with a homozygous recessive plant with a tt genotype.

A glucose molecule is completely broken down to carbon dioxide and water in glycolysis and the citric acid cycle. True or False
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

A glucose molecule enters glycolysis in the cytoplasm of the cell. The glycolytic reactions break down one molecule of glucose into two molecules of pyruvate. Each of the pyruvate molecules is then decarboxylated and is oxidized into acetyl CoA. Acetyl CoA enters Kreb's cycle. Acetyl CoA is completely broken down into CO2 and H2O in Kreb's cycle. In this way, glycolysis and Kreb's cycle break down the glucose molecule into CO2 and H2O in a stepwise manner.

Give SOME EXAMPLES OF NATURAL CYCLE CHECKPOINTS .
Shalnov [3]

Answer:

For example, delays in mitosis are often ascribed to 'activation' of the mitotic checkpoint, a descriptor that fails to recognize that the checkpoint by definition is active as the cell starts mitosis. Conversely, the completion of mitosis in the presence of misaligned chromosomes is often automatically interpreted to indicate a defective checkpoint, even though in the absence of critical testing alternative interpretations are equally likely. In this article, we define the critical characteristics of checkpoints and illustrate how confusion generated by the inconsistent use of terminology may impede progress by fostering claims that mean very different things to different researchers. We will illustrate our points with examples from the checkpoint that controls progression through mitosis
