Answer: The contractile vacuole found in the single cell organism helps in the movement of water from inside to outside of the cell.

In case of single celled organism, the process of homeostasis is performed by the help of vacuoles.

When there is an excess of water inside the cell and there is an imbalance in the solute concentrations inside the cell.

In this case, vacuoles helps in pumping the water out of the cell. This is how homeostasis is maintained inside the cell.
