Democracy is the belief that, "every vote counts". Having women take more of a part in Government contributes to this idea because if EVERY vote truly counts, and everyone is represented equally, then the amount of women in government should even out with the men.

Answer:

Because it is one of the major goals a democratic government intends to achieve

Explanation:

participation or increased participation of women in politics in a Government is a huge sign of Democratization. because in a democratic system of Governance every citizen who is up to the legal voting age in the country should be allowed to vote and be voted for regardless of his/her race ethnicity or sex.

therefore increased female participation in Government shows that the main aim of democracy in a government system have been completely met. unlike when only men are allowed to have a say or participate in governance.
