Mark, Taylor, & Brian's ages are consecutive whole numbers. Mark is the youngest, and Brian is the oldest. The sum of their ages is 111. How old is Taylor?

I think it's 37, because consecutive means in a pattern, so 111÷3=37.
But I'm not exactly sure what "consecutive" means, so I could be wrong..

taylor = x + 1
brian = x + 2

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 111
3x + 3 = 111
3x = 111 - 3
3x = 108
x = 108/3
x = 36 .....marks age

x + 1 = 36 + 1 = 37 <=== taylors age
x + 2 = 36 + 2 = 38....brians age
