Because someone who is in a high authority in the level of hierarchy could only be the one whom demanded for the war to happen however, only the poor were the ones to take part and participate in the war thus, making it a “poor man’s fight” they could have easily yes, paid the poor to fight so the rich got away with demanding or asking for the war to happen.

Bearings can be measured using wind roses and the corresponding directions can easily be transferred from point to point on the map.
