How can a member of Congress officially change a bill?
Arada [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

After both the House and Senate have approved a bill in identical form, the bill is sent to the President. If the President approves of the legislation, it is signed and becomes law. If the President takes no action for ten days while Congress is in session, the bill automatically becomes law.

That is just my guess.

I do hope I helped you! :)

How were African Americans affected by the end of WWII?
saul85 [17]

The “tan soldiers,” as the black press affectionately called them, were also for the most part left out of the triumphant narrative of America’s “Greatest Generation.” In order to tell their story of helping defeat Nazi Germany in my 2010 book, “Breath of Freedom,” I had to conduct research in more than 40 different archives in the U.S. and Germany.

When a German TV production company, together with Smithsonian TV, turned that book into a documentary, the filmmakers searched U.S. media and military archives for two years for footage of black GIs in the final push into Germany and during the occupation of post-war Germany.

They watched hundreds of hours of film and discovered less than 10 minutes of footage. This despite the fact that among the 16 million U.S. soldiers who fought in World War II, there were about one million African-American soldiers.

sweet [91]
The answer is A. In a monopoly is only one provider of a certain resource or service that the public needs. In this kind of situation that provider gains access to majority of the profits generated. Competition is eliminated since he controls that particular good or service that consumers demand so much of. The stronger the demand for that good, the more profits that provider makes. These days there are laws against monopoly. In fair market economy, there should be competitors in providing goods and services. This way, consumers can choose from whom they purchase these goods from.

5. Why do many historians consider 3200 bce to be the beginning of history?
liq [111]

Answer:

A. This was when the first written language appeared.

Explanation:

The term history is associated to the appearance of writing, therefore, prehistory refers to the period before (pre) writing existed.

In the case of 3200 BCE, it corresponds to the ancient civilization known as Mesopotamia. There, a group called the Sumerians developed the world's first known writing system called cuneiform. This was a pictographic system that was traditionally inscribed on clay tablets.
