The poem expresses the beliefs of the humanist movement because D. it uses reason to make its point. As you already know, Humanism was an era where the man was the center of the world and everything around him was important. This was a time where religion and the church started to lose their influence over humanity, and where reason started to become more and more important. Similarly, this poem shows how people have finally started to think for themselves and not only rely on what the church and the Bible have to tell them. A, B, and C are not as important for Humanity as reason is.
